It's that time again on Wednesday, March 8; International Women's Day. This is the day when women all over the world celebrate what women have achieved and women really take center stage. To this day, we as women still fight for equality. We would like to explain more about International Women's Day and its origins.
International Women's Day
International Women's Day is a day observed worldwide on March 8 to recognize and celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is also a day to draw attention to gender equality and the challenges that women around the world still face.
International Women's Day has been celebrated since 1909. A year earlier, New York women took to the streets to demonstrate for better pay, voting rights and better working conditions.
International Women's Day has a different theme every year. This year's theme is "livable indefinitely" . Can we as women participate without restrictions today? And how limited our lives really are. Should we as women ensure that we are allowed to live an unlimited life?
What can we do to make our lives as women liveable again without limitations?
An international women's day is certainly still necessary for all these issues
